Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
  • 1 Cup warm water
  • 1 TBL yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 Cups white flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 TBL olive oil

Knead with mixer or by hand for several minutes. Form into a ball. Let rise for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes roll out dough onto pizza pan. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until you can roll out more. Keep doing this until it is able to stretch the entire size of the pan. Once rolled out, bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Take out and top with:

  • Spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce (13 oz spaghetti sauce)
  • 5 oz frozen spinach (thawed and then pureed)
  • Add any other puree'd vegetable you have on hand. We also used mushrooms.

Top baked crust with sauce, then mozzarella cheese. Bake for 10 more minutes at 400 degrees.
