  • 2 cup water
  • 1 cup oats, dry
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 medium banana


  • Combine water, oats, vanilla, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the water is absorbed.
  • Top with chopped strawberries, blueberries, and sliced bananas.
  • Optional: Add honey during cooking if your kids like their oats sweeter.
