- 4 cup water
- 2 large pear
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1 teaspoon ginger root, fresh
- 6 each dates, Medjool
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Add water to sauce pan and bring to boil. Meanwhile dice pears, chop cashews, grate ginger, and chop dates.
- Add all ingredients to the boiling water. Stir frequently and simmer over medium until all liquid has absorbed and oats have softened.
- Serve immediately.
