Whether you need a healthy green snack for St. Patrick’s Day, or you just need something a little different, try this fresh green pea hummus recipe with your kids!

First, we added green peas, chick peas, garlic, oil, salt and pepper. We blended it in a food processor until it was super smooth.

We had fun with these little faces. We used olives, carrots, peas, red onions, peppers, sprouts, and cauliflower.

We used bagel crisps for our crackers, but any will do!

I just love this! Such a fun idea for St. Patrick’s Day or anytime! 🙂
Might be a dumb question but could you use frozen peas? (Thawed)
A question. Can frozen peas be used when the fresh ones aren’t in season?
Thanks!
Yes, frozen can definitely be used if you thaw them! @erin & @marti~
do you drain the chickpeas? I didn’t see it mentioned but usually do when I make hummus.
