- 8 medium apple
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup water
- Peel and core apples.
- Place all ingredients in a large stock pot; bring to a simmer, and allow to cook for 30 minutes until apples have completely softened.
- Once cooled, place into a blender and mix until desired consistency is reached. Serve chilled or warm with a sprinkling of additional cinnamon on top.
