Better-4-U Grits

  • 4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup, pure
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup Corn Grits


  • 1 cup cranberries, dried
  • 1/8 cup walnuts, chopped

Serve With

  • 2 cup blueberries


  • In a small saucepan, add milk (or water if desired), syrup and salt; bring to a boil over high heat. Slowly whisk in grits. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Let stand for 1 minute.
  • Top grits with cranberries and walnuts. Serve with blueberries on the side.
