- 1 medium banana
- 1 medium orange
- 1 medium lime
- 1 medium apple
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 cup apple juice
- 4 cup spinach
- 4 slice bread, whole wheat
- 1 1/2 tablespoon butter, unsalted
- Peel banana and orange but NOT the lime.
- Divide all ingredients in half and add one half at a time to a high-powered blender (like a Vitamix).
- Blend well, adding ice until the desired consistency is reached. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Serve smoothies alongside buttered toast.
