These Candy Corn Fruit Pops have no sight of candy or dyes anywhere! Just naturally sweetened and colored with fruit!
Hey there! It’s me, Holly, from Happy Food Healthy Life, and I’m so dang excited about this month’s recipe I’m going to share with you. Originally, I was planning on sharing a little “how-to” instructional post for cutting big ol’ fall squashes because I know it’s a struggle and totally intimidating. But then I got an idea that I just couldn’t pass up sharing this month with Halloween just a couple of weeks away! Don’t worry though – the squash-cutting instructions are coming up next month!
Besides, when it comes to Halloween, it is all about the kiddos, isn’t it? This recipe will spark their excitement much more than squash – guaranteed!
Let me tell you a little bit about my 9-year-old. His middle name really should be candy. That kid would eat handfuls of that sugary stuff if he could. I could offer him a huge plate of his favorite meal (mac & cheese!) that would fill him up for the entire day. Or I could alternatively offer him 1 piece of candy that would do nothing but please his taste buds… and well, I’m sure you’ve guessed it. The candy would win every time!
Thankfully, he’s mostly come to terms with the fact that candy is meant for rare and special occasions. That doesn’t stop him from asking for it multiple times a day though.
“Can I have candy in my lunch?”
“Can I have candy for an after-school snack?”
“Can I have a piece of candy before bed?”
Ahhh! It drives this mama crazy.
On occasion I do give in because he is still a kid, and I never want him to feel restricted and create unhealthy eating behaviors in the future like I learned at a young age. But most of the time, I like to offer him a delicious alternative. Which is exactly why I created these Candy Corn Fruit Pops. I wanted him to get the novelty of one of Halloween’s favorite candies without all the corn syrup and dyes. Colored and flavored with fruit and a tiny bit of agave, there’s no reason why you would have to say no to these fruit pops.
In my kiddo’s opinion, frozen treats are good all year round, and I tend to agree. So even if you missed making popsicles over the summer, this is your chance to redeem yourself. (I love this popsicle mold and will never use anything different for pops.)

Candy Corn Fruit Pops
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 medium orange
- 1/2 cup pieces mango
- In a blender, combine coconut milk, yogurt, and agave until smooth.
- Pour about an inch of the mixture into popsicle molds. I made 10 popsicles and still had some liquid leftover.
- Save it for the next layer.
- Use 1/2 of whatever is left from the white layer, adding oranges and mango.
- Blend well, pour in a glass and set aside.
- Use remaining half of white later, adding banana and pineapple.
- Blend well, pour in a glass, and set aside until ready to layer.
- Once the first layer is slushy (don’t freeze completely or you won’t be able to get the popsicle stick in at the end!), pour the orange layer into the molds until there is a little more than an inch left for the yellow layer.
- Freeze again for another 30 minutes, until the orange layer is slushy.
- Top with yellow layer.
- Then place the popsicle sticks in and freeze for until completely frozen.
