- 4 medium apple
- 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup oats, dry
- 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup yogurt, plain
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Wash and core apples, taking care that there is enough room to stuff them well.
Place apples in a baking dish.
Melt butter, allow to slightly cool, then mix with the remaining ingredients (only 1/8 cup yogurt) and stuff the apples.
Bake for 30-40 minutes until apples are only slightly firm, NOT mushy.
Top off with remaining yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
