Looking for a quick and healthy breakfast? Whip out your slow cooker and prep one of these nutrition-packed recipes for the morning!
I would have to say that with out a doubt my favorite part of fall is the fact I get to pull my Crock-Pot Programmable Cook & Carry Oval Slow Cooker out of the cabinet and leave it on the counter until Spring. Fun fact- in the midwest, we refer to the slow cooker as a crock-pot. My slow cooker plays a huge role in fall meal prep because it’s the easiest way to whip up a batch of chili or soup. For the most part it is handsfree and I love the set it and forget it mentality. Most of the time I use my slow cooker for all things dinner, but as of late, I’ve been taking advantage of it’s 8 hour slow cook time and using it for breakfast purposes.
Why not prep tomorrow’s breakfast for the family before bed and have everything ready to go in the morning when you wake up. Genius, right? In this post, I’ve rounded up some delicious (and healthy!) slow cooker breakfast recipes from some of my favorite healthy food bloggers.
