A perfectly ripe kiwi is definitely on my favorite fruit list.  They are sweet with a little tang, a beautiful color and also give a little tropical feel to recipes.  Plus they are so pretty no matter how you use them and packed full of nutrition.  Did you know that one little kiwi has almost twice the amount of vitamin C as an orange?? We love to top pancakes with kiwi and even love to put them in a wrap! So yes, we love to use kiwi.   This fruit tray is incredibly simple and you can make it as big or as small as you want depending on the crowd you are feeding.   Kiwi Tree Fruit Tray Final with Text If you are going to be slicing kiwi then you MUST use this method for peeling it.  It will literally take you less than one minute.

After you peel your kiwi, slice down the middle lengthwise.  Then slice into half moons.  To make the tree, layer the kiwi with the flat edge facing up.  You will want the bottom to be wider than the top so start with as many as you want it wide.  Then begin stacking them on top of each other – you can go 2 or 3 deep.  Keep layering until you get your tree as tall as you want it making it narrow at the top. Once you have your tree stacked, decorate with raspberries as ornaments.  For the star, I just cut a slice of a cutie and then cut the peel off around it so it looks like a star.  And there you have your super cute kiwi tree!
