Crockpot Apple-Berry Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 4 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 medium apple
- 1 cup, frozen mixed berries, frozen
Instructions
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or use a crock pot liner. (If you do not you will be scrubbing for hours!)
- Put all of the ingredients into the crock pot, secure the lid, and cook on low for 8-9 hours (Or overnight)
- In the morning, about 30 minutes before serving add about 1 cup of frozen mixed berries.
- To serve, spoon the oatmeal into bowls and if desired top with nuts, brown sugar, granola, milk, etc…
