Overnight Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 4 cup 8 fl oz WATER
- 1/2 cup Milk, Low fat 1%
- 1 cup, pitted cherries, dried
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 spray , about 1/3 second (1 NLEA serving) cooking spray
- 2 medium (3″ dia) apple
- 1/2 cup, chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Mix in a separate bowl: oats, water, milk. dried fruit, cinnamon, honey and nutmeg. Pour into crockpot.
- Cook on low, overnight (8-9 hours). Use diced apples and chopped walnuts as toppings.
