Our favorite homemade pizza is topped with fresh mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of sweet and tangy balsamic glaze creating a flavor-bomb pizza that we make on repeat.
Preheat oven to 475°F. Follow the directions on my homemade pizza dough recipe. While the dough is rising, make the sauce.
Follow the instructions for pizza sauce.
Roll out two pizza crusts from your dough and place them on individual baking sheets or pizza pans topped with parchment paper. Top each pizza crust with the sauce.
Blot excess moisture from the fresh mozzarella. Break it into large bite-sized pieces with your hands and spread it evenly over the pizza sauce.
Bake pizzas for 12-15 minute or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Immediately top each pizza with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and fresh basil. Slice and serve.
