American Flag Ricotta Toast

Ricotta Toast is creamy, full of protein and a delicious and filling breakfast. Add blueberries, bananas and raspberries and you have a festive and easy breakfast in just minutes that will start your patriotic celebrations off on the right foot!

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries


  • Toast each slice of bread. Spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese on top. You can use just regular ricotta, or if you like it more light and fluffy, whip it in a food processor for a couple of minutes until creamy.
  • Slice your banana, and then cut the slices in half.
  • Add blueberries in a row in the left corner of the toast to represent stars. Alternate the raspberries and bananas on the rest of the toast in rows to look like stripes. Serve immediately and enjoy!
