Buttermilk Pancakes (Base Recipe)
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place butter in a 9×13 casserole dish and set it in the oven while it heats to melt the butter.
Prepare pancake batter while the butter melts.
Remove dish from oven and pour half the pancake batter into the warmed, butter-coated dish.
Evenly distribute sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, and cottage cheese over the batter.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top. Drizzle with maple syrup.
Spread the remaining pancake batter over everything.
Bake for 40 minutes , or until the center springs back when pressed and looks fully set.
Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with fruit, jam, or extra syrup.
