Ingredients

  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 3 oz package vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 cups whipping cream whipped to stiff peaks
  • 36 vanilla wafers approximately
  • 2 1/2 cups raspberries and/or blackberries if using frozen, do not thaw

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the sweetened condensed milk and cold water on low speed until combined.
Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and beat until fully blended. Refrigerate for 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until light and fluffy.
  • In a tall glass bowl, trifle dish, or individual clear cups, layer in this order:
    Pudding mixture
    Vanilla wafers
    Berries
    Repeat layers as desired.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours to allow the wafers to soften, frozen berries to thaw, and the flavors will meld together.
  • Top with fresh berries, whipped cream, and decorative vanilla wafers before serving.
