Toppings & Decorations

  • Banana slices for paws
  • Small pat of butter (or whipped cream) for tail
  • Raspberry Jam for ears
  • Maple Syrup for serving

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed (a few small lumps are okay).
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease.
    Pour batter to create:
    1 medium circle (body)
    1 slightly smaller circle (head)
    2 long oval shapes (ears)
    2 small circles (feet)
Cook until bubbles form (about 2–3 minutes), flip, and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden.
  • On a large plate:
Place the large pancake at the bottom (body)
Add the smaller pancake above it (head)
    Position ears on top
Add small circles at the bottom for feet
    Top feet with banana slices
Add a small pat of butter as a “tail”
Spread jam onto the ears for the pink center
    Serve with syrup and enjoy!
