Ingredients

  • 10 medium kiwis
  • 1 medium pomegranate
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 medium apple
  • mint leaves for garnish

Sugared Grapes

  • 2 cups red grapes
  • 2 cups green grapes
  • 1/2 cup sugar, divided
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Stir continuously over medium heat until sugar is melted. When the liquid is clear, it is done. This takes about 3 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
  • Add grapes in batches to the sugar water. Using a slotted spoon, remove the grapes and place onto a wired rack over a sheet tray. Make sure grapes are not touching and let them sit for about 30 minutes.
  • Add remaining 1/4 cup sugar on a plate or wide bowl. Roll the grapes in the sugar. Repeat until all grapes are coated in sugar. Let sit for another 30 minutes in the fridge.
  • While the grapes are chilling, slice kiwis and place in a single layer in a circle on a round serving tray. Slice the apple into thin slices and using a small star cutter, cut star shapes.
  • Deseed the pomegranate and set the arils aside.
  • Once the grapes are chilled, begin adding grapes, raspberries, and pomegranate arils on top of the kiwi in that order. Place fruits to balance out the different colors and shapes. Finish by adding the apple stars on top and garnishing with mint leaves. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
