- 15 ounce chickpeas (garbanzo beans), canned
- 2/3 cup pumpkin, canned
- 4 tablespoon maple syrup, pure
- 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Serve With
- 2 large pita, whole wheat
Drain and rinse chickpeas. (For the smoothest hummus, remove the skins from the chickpeas if time permits.)
Add all hummus ingredients to a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Drizzle in more oil a little at a time if needed.
Cut pitas into triangles and serve alongside hummus.
