  • 8 medium apple
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cup water


  • Peel and core apples.
  • Place all ingredients in a large stock pot; bring to a simmer, and allow to cook for 30 minutes until apples have completely softened.
  • Once cooled, place into a blender and mix until desired consistency is reached. Serve chilled or warm with a sprinkling of additional cinnamon on top.
