- 1/2 cup apricots, dried
- 1/2 cup cranberries, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, ground

Simmer apple juice, brown sugar, and water in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved.
Add dried fruit, spices, and vanilla; simmer 5 minutes more or until fruits are plump and liquid is slightly thickened.
