Ingredients

  • 4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 4 tablespoon flaxseed, ground
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 medium banana
  • 2 cup strawberries

Instructions

  • Bring water, salt and cinnamon to a boil; stir in steel cut oats. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
  • Five minutes prior to the end of cooking time, stir in ground flax seed, chia seeds, chopped walnuts, banana and strawberry slices.
  • Cook until liquid is absorbed, then divide evenly between four bowls to serve.
