Rainy Day Stewed Chicken and Veggies
Servings 6 servings
- 2 pounds chicken
- 2 cups baby carrots
- 7 - 10 baby potatoes
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 4 cups of water
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 - 4 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon each of onion powder, garlic powder, basil, oregano, and thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
Add salt and pepper to the chicken then place in the slow cooker.
Rough cut the onions and potatoes then place the slow cooker along with baby carrots.
In a bowl, add four cups of water and herbs then squeeze the half of lemon to the mixture. Pour mixture in slow cooker.
Set slow cooker to high for 4 hours. Then enjoy!
