Ingredients

  • 4 medium apple
  • 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup oats, dry
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt, plain
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Wash and core apples, taking care that there is enough room to stuff them well.
  • Place apples in a baking dish.
  • Melt butter, allow to slightly cool, then mix with the remaining ingredients (only 1/8 cup yogurt) and stuff the apples.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until apples are only slightly firm, NOT mushy.
  • Top off with remaining yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
