Cranberry Turkey Sandwich

This Cranberry Turkey Sandwich is topped with an herby cream cheese spread and a sweet and tangy cranberry sauce- it's a delicious twist on the classic sandwich and a great way to use up leftover Thanksgiving turkey!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread hearty bread is best
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chives chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 slices Havarti cheese
  • 4 leaves green leaf lettuce
  • 1 pound sliced leftover turkey
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, chives, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly between 4 slices of bread.
  • Top the bread slice with cream cheese with one slice of havarti cheese, a lettuce leaf, turkey and then cranberry sauce. Top with the other slice of bread.
  • Cut in half and enjoy!
