In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In a large bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until a soft dough forms.
