Ingredients

  • 2 medium banana
  • 3 1/4 cup flour, whole wheat
  • 5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 large egg
  • 3 cup milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 4 tablespoon mini chocolate chips

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoon butter, unsalted
  • 4 tablespoon maple syrup, pure

Instructions

  • Heat waffle iron.
  • Puree one banana (leave the second one for topping the waffles). Add to a large bowl along with all other ingredients. Stir just until combined (it will be lumpy). Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
