Ingredients

Instructions

  • Slice the avocados in half and remove the seeds. With a spoon, scoop out the avocado and add to a medium bowl. Mash with a fork until the consistency is how you like it. (if you like some texture, stop mashing when there are still small chunks of avocado)
  • Add diced tomatoes, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, salt, and onion powder. If you like a little bit of heat and added flavor, add the Tony Chachere seasoning. Stir everything together to combine.
  • Taste and add more salt and lime juice if it seems like it needs a bit more flavor. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.
  • You can store in an airtight container for 3 days in the fridge. The less air that the guacamole is exposed to, the less it will turn brown. If there is a layer of brown on top, with a spoon, carefully scrape it off and enjoy the fresh green guacamole underneath!
