- 1 cup wheat berries
- 3 cup water
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 cup yogurt, plain
- 2 medium banana
- 1/4 cup almonds, sliced
- Add wheat berries and water to a small pot.
- Bring to a boil over medium high heat, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 40-60 minutes until the kernels are plump and some have begun to split. (The only real way to tell if they are done is to try them.)
- Meanwhile, whisk together honey and yogurt. Slice bananas.
- Serve wheat berries warm, topped with yogurt mixture, sliced bananas, and almonds.
