Serves: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup – olive oil
  • 1 cup – chicken broth, low-sodium
  • 2 clove – garlic
  • 1 tbsp – paprika
  • 1 tbsp – garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp – poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp, ground – OREGANO, DRIED
  • 1 tsp, ground – BASIL, DRIED, GROUND
  • 1/8 tsp – salt
  • 1/8 tsp, ground – black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 cup – buttermilk
  • 1 large – egg
  • 4 cup – GREEN BEANS, SNAP
  • 1 spray , about 1/3 second (1 nlea serving) – cooking spray
  • 2 oz – panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
  • 12 oz – pork loin
  • 2 cup – pineapple
  • 4 roll (1 oz) – ROLLS, DINNER, WHOLE WHEAT

Directions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chicken broth, minced garlic, paprika, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, oregano, and basil.
  • Season pork with salt and pepper, place in slow cooker.  Pour seasoned mixture over the top of chops; cook on high for 4 hours.
  • For green beans:
    • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    • Mixed the buttermilk with the egg, and soaked the green beans in the mixture for about 10 minutes in the fridge.
    • Then, arrange the green beans on a pan, lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray (foil not necessary).
    • Sprinkle the beans with salt and panko crumbs.
    • Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • While beans roast, use leftover potatoes from breakfast and warm up the chopped potatoes in a medium-sized skillet; if you have onions, chop some up and add to potatoes for added flavor. 
  • Serve together with pineapple and rolls.
