Vanilla Walnut Oatmeal

  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup oats, dry
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 medium apple


  • Combine milk and oats in a pot over medium heat.
  • Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.  The rolled oats will soften and the liquid will thicken. Continue to cook until desired consistency, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Stir in walnuts, vanilla and honey; serve with apple slices.
