Ingredients

  • 2 medium apple
  • 4 tablespoon almond butter
  • 4 large pita, whole wheat
  • 2 medium carrot
  • 2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground

Instructions

  • Thinly slice apples, spread nut butter inside pita, and fill with apple slices.
  • Grate carrots, slice tomatoes in half; peel and slice cucumber.  Place veggies into a bowl and toss with oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.  Serve veggies with sweet pita.
