Spooktacular Lunch

A fun holiday twist on a favorite packed lunch. All the fiber, protein, and nutrients your kid needs to make a healthy start this Halloween.

Ingredients

  • 8 slice bread, whole wheat
  • 4 ounce cheddar cheese
  • 4 slice ham, deli sliced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 cup yogurt, plain, low-fat
  • 1 ounce raisins, seedless
  • 4 medium orange
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  • Assemble the sandwich with bread, cheese, ham, spinach and your condiments of choice, if any. If you have Halloween spiders, squish one on top of each sandwich!
  • Place the yogurt in its own container with two raisins as eyes for a ghost. Draw a jack-o-lantern on the orange. And add the cherry tomatoes for added veg and color!
  • Serve immediately.
