- 12 medium apple
- 2 cup water
- 3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves, ground
- Core apples and cut them into chunks.
- Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.
- When apples are tender, use a hand blender to puree until the desired consistency is reached. (You could also use a potato masher or place them in a regular blender instead.)
- Serve warm or cold. Extras can be refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
