  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 4 cup 8 fl oz WATER
  • 1/2 cup Milk, Low fat 1%
  • 1 cup, pitted cherries, dried
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 spray , about 1/3 second (1 NLEA serving) cooking spray
  • 2 medium (3″ dia) apple
  • 1/2 cup, chopped walnuts


  • Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Mix in a separate bowl: oats, water, milk. dried fruit, cinnamon, honey and nutmeg. Pour into crockpot.
  • Cook on low, overnight (8-9 hours). Use diced apples and chopped walnuts as toppings.
