Crockpot Apple-Berry Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 none cooking spray
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 cup, frozen mixed berries, frozen

Instructions

  • Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or use a crock pot liner. (If  you do not you will be scrubbing for hours!) 
  • Put all of the ingredients into the crock pot, secure the lid, and cook on low for 8-9 hours  (Or overnight)
  • In the morning, about 30 minutes before serving add about 1 cup of frozen mixed berries.
  • To serve, spoon the oatmeal into bowls and if desired top with nuts, brown sugar, granola, milk, etc…
