- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup bulgur, dry
- 1/2 cup raisins, seedless
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 6 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 cup strawberries
- In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups milk, bulgur, raisins, salt, and 1 cup water; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until bulgur is tender and mixture is the consistency of oatmeal, 10-15 minutes.
- Divide between 4 bowls; sprinkle with brown sugar. Serve porridge warm with strawberries, if using, and extra milk to taste.
