- 4 large egg
- 4 ounce cheddar cheese
- Add eggs to a medium-sized saucepan and cover with about an inch of cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat and set aside for 10 minutes, allowing eggs to finish cooking.
- Gently crack eggs and submerge in ice water for 1 minute; peel, then cut each in half lengthwise.
- Cut cheese into 4 1-ounce slices, then cut the slices in half forming 8 triangles.
- Place each cheese triangle on a toothpick, then insert each into a half of a boiled egg, making boats.
