Oatmeal Berry Bar
Ingredients
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 medium banana
Instructions
- Mix together in a sauce pan, the water, milk, salt and vanilla. Bring to a boil, then add oats. Bring to a boil again, continue cooking for 10-15 minutes, by simmering on low heat.
- Each serving is topped with individually desired add-ins. Although there are only a few here, make this morning fun by placing out more fruit, yogurt, maybe some almond milk or even chocolate soy milk. Its whatever your little (or big!) individual tastes love.
