New Meal Plan with Carrot Hearts

I do believe I have about 13 sizes of heart shaped cookie cutters!  I love the metal ones with the sharp edges, so I can cut out vegetables with them as well!  Is it more fun to have a bag of baby carrots, or a bowl of heart carrots?  My kids like hearts.  Don’t toss the scraps though, you can always use the scraps in soups, salads, casseroles, or even smoothies!

Do you think I can do the one-eyed monsters in the microwave… It’s just that cooking in the pan on the stove at any time (much less first thing in the morning) is not my thing (think smoke and fire alarm ;)… I realize I would have to pierce the egg yolk or it would explode 🙂

Amy says:

I’ve never tried it! Eggs in the microwave do scare me, as I’ve had them explode.. but if you’ve done it before you could try. The bread wouldn’t be “toasty” though…
