Ingredients

  • 8 ounce elbow noodles
  • 1 pound turkey, ground
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper, green
  • 1 cup corn, frozen
  • 29 ounce tomato sauce
  • 14 1/2 ounce diced tomatoes, canned
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce, gluten free
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Serve With

  • 2 cup grapes

Instructions

  • Cook pasta to al dente, as directed on the package. Drain and set aside, covered.
  • Meanwhile, heat a large pot over medium and add ground turkey. Saute and crumble until no longer pink; draining any excess fat if necessary.
  • Chop onion and pepper; add to turkey along with corn. Continue to cook for 5-6 minutes, allowing veggies to begin softening.
  • Add tomato sauce, drained tomatoes, sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Mix to thoroughly combine.
  • Allow mixture to come to a low boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add pasta; stir to combine. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve warm with grapes on the side.
