Ingredients

  • 4 cup water
  • 2 large pear
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root, fresh
  • 6 each dates, Medjool
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Add water to sauce pan and bring to boil. Meanwhile dice pears, chop cashews, grate ginger, and chop dates.
  • Add all ingredients to the boiling water. Stir frequently and simmer over medium until all liquid has absorbed and oats have softened.
  • Serve immediately.
