14 Fruit Party Plates

Tis the season for parties, buffets, and banquets where we love to bring a fruit party platter!   In Utah, it’s very traditional to be invited to dinner parties and holiday parties where everyone contributes a dish. Rarely have I been to a party where the host provides all the food.  We love it this way! It gives us an opportunity to not only bring something healthy, but show the others in attendance that healthy food can also be delicious and fun!

So, we decided to round up our favorite fruit party plates!  Any of these would make a great offering for a party, whether it’s for a holiday party or any time of year.

14 Fruit Party Plates. Fruit is our favorite thing to bring to potlucks and parties! Check out our 14 fruit platter ideas here.

1- The Fruit Kabobs

How can you not start with the fruit kabobs!  Easy for kids to eat, and so pretty to look at! We made this one super festive by using red, green, and yellow fruit!  Our dip was simply plain yogurt with some honey drizzle inside.  You can also use vanilla yogurt.    Some of our favorite fruit dips are:

  1. Citrus banana fruit dip
  2. Creamy lemon dip
  3. Sweet peanut butter dip
  4. Orange party cup dip

2- Apple Nachos

Second we have Apple Nachos!  Arrange sliced apples on a platter, and get creative with your toppings.  We love this one from Lauren Kelly Nutrition.  She used pears and apples!  We also made one for Super Healthy Kids with a Valentines twist here.

I love this one from Two Healthy Kitchens, because I love the heartiness of pita bread for the base!
