- 4 cup water
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1/3 cup almonds, sliced
- 2 medium apricot
- 1 medium pear
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/8 cup honey
- Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and stir in oats. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes or until oats have softened and water is mostly absorbed.
- While oats cook, coarsely chop almonds and fruit; add all to a small bowl and stir to combine.
- Divide oatmeal equally among four dishes. Top each serving with some of the fruit and nut mixture and drizzle with honey to taste.
