Fruit & Honey Oatmeal

  • 4 cup water
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1/3 cup almonds, sliced
  • 2 medium apricot
  • 1 medium pear
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/8 cup honey


  • Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and stir in oats. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes or until oats have softened and water is mostly absorbed.
  • While oats cook, coarsely chop almonds and fruit; add all to a small bowl and stir to combine.
  • Divide oatmeal equally among four dishes. Top each serving with some of the fruit and nut mixture and drizzle with honey to taste.
