  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 medium lemon
  • 1 cup cranberries, raw
  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoon honey


  • Place oats, water, and juice of lemon in a pot. Allow to sit covered, in refrigerator overnight.
  • In the morning, chop apple and add to pot along with the remaining ingredients. Cook on medium until boiling, then lower to a simmer and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
