Crockpot Chimichurri
Ingredients
- 6 breast bone and skin r Chicken Breast, Boneless, Skinless
- 3 tbsp canola oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp, ground black pepper, ground
- 6 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp vinegar, cider
- 2 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp cayenne or red pepper
- 4 fl oz dry white wine
- 1/4 cup vinegar, red wine
- 1 oz Linguini, fresh
- 4 medium (3″ dia) apple
- 4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes tomato, red
- 1/4 medium (4-1/8″ long) onion, red
Instructions
- Place chicken in crockpot. Pour onto the top oil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, cider vinegar, garlic, red pepper, dry white wine (or broth), and red wine vinegar. Give it a quick stir. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Once cooked, shred with a fork.
- Prepare pasta according to package and serve chicken over the top, with a side salad and apples. (I stirred the pasta after it was cooked into the crockpot to get coated with all the juices from the cooked chicken)
