Cinn-apple Sauce

  • 6 medium apple
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup water


  • Peel, core and slice apples.  Put all ingredients into a large pot, cover, and cook over low heat.  Simmer for 30 minutes, or until apples have softened.
  • Allow apples to cool and place into a blender, 1/4 batch at a time. Pulse a few times to make smoother.  Serve warm topped with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.
