  • 1 medium apple
  • 2 1/3 cup water
  • 1 1/3 cup oats, dry
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed, ground
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2/3 cup walnuts, chopped


  • Peel and grate apple.
  • Add water, oats, apple, and flax to a pot; stir to combine. Heat over medium until water begins to boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Fold in blueberries and walnuts.
  • Serve immediately.
