Zesty Barley Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 cup barley, pearled, dry
- 4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup cranberries, dried
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Place water and barley into a slow cooker; add cinnamon and ground cloves; cook on low for 6-8 hours (so, turn it on just before going to bed).
- Upon serving add blueberries, dried cranberries and a small amount of sliced almonds.
